Unit 30 Task 2

In this task I am going to add notes to my work that justifies my choices and evaluates the limitations of hardware and software that I have suggested.

Disadvantages of Hardware:

Printer: Printers can be rather expensive and need ink, paper and maintenance in order to work properly. Toners can also be rather expensive.
Scanner: Scanners are very expensive and also need a lot of maintenance which can also cost quite a fair amount, The glass could also have small imperfections that can affect the performance of the scanner. They are also usually quite large and can take up a lot of room space.
Digital Camera: Memory cards can corrupt, hard disks can break and they have a limited battery life. Pictures also cost to develop. SD cards are very easy to lose and can also break very easily. Camera lenses are very fragile which means they can scratch and break with ease.
Vinyl Cutter: Vinyl cutters are extremely expensive and require a lot of space to keep.
Monitor: The size and resolution may not meet the specific requirements.

Disadvantages of Software:

Illustrator: Adobe Illustrator requires training to be able to use it optimally and it also costs.
Photoshop: Like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop requires a good amount of training to use and it costs.
Photo Manipulation: This piece of software is not beginner friendly and be quite a task to learn how to use it properly,

Image for Website	Bitmap	A bitmap graphic is composed of many tiny parts, called pixels, which are often many different colours. A bitmap is the best graphic type to be used on a website because its easy to upload and can be viewed by everyone.	JPEG
Image for Vehicle	Vector	Vector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygons—all of which are based on mathematical expressions—to represent images in computer graphics. This means images can be changed to different sizes and be edited without the image becoming unclear or pixelated, this means that a vector would be the best type of graphic for an image.	PDF
Brochure	Bitmap/vector	A brochure can use both bitmap and vectors because brochures a quite small and therefore images won't look blurry and pixelated.	JPEG/PDF
